Candlelight in the Garden

John 1:7

This is my little garden cart, isn't it cute? I acquired this at the end of last summer, {Free!} Orange and Rusty, it sat in my shed as I debated, leave it Orange, or paint it?

As you can see painting won over,

I have been collecting old wooden candlesticks, and decided to paint a set, with my new obsession color.

I call them my Perfectly miss-matched set. All painted the same color, but all different shapes and sizes, there are 2 sets, and 3 singles

The possibilities are endless for using and arraigning!

Since I'm spending most of my time outdoors, I decided to display them on my old Flower Cart, with a 2 White Metal Stars.

I love the combination of Flames and the Flowers...

The Flames reflecting in the glass panes, creates a very comforting ambiance

I love the contrast of the Purple Sage and the Turquoise Candlesticks

I love how these candles dripped, most candles don't drip, probably due to safety reasons.

I could sit all night and watch these candles burn, but as you can see from the size of the candles above, they are not going to last long. I knew I took a ton of pictures, but I still think they burned down quickly!

Now I'll be searching pinterest to find an easy way to get the wax off the candlesticks!

Thank you for visiting with me today, hopefully you have been inspired in some small way...

Please leave a comment so I know you were here, they really do make my day!

As always if you like it, PIN IT
God's Blessing to you and your families, have a wonderful day!

  2. This is so pretty! The color unifies the variety of mismatched candlesticks so beautifully and you are right, the purple sage is a brilliant accent. The whole thing works so well. I'd be out there watching the candles burn with you. It does look like it would be mesmerizing. You sure created a beautiful vignette that I would be thrilled to have at my home.

  4. I love it! Of course, I'm a candleholic too. :) The turquoise & white look beautiful together and the stars are something else I love. Of course, being from the Lone Star State adds a bit of favoritism toward stars.
