5th Glimpse of Fall - In a Vintage Suitcase

I've been shopping in my attic again, I discovered 4 Vintage Suitcases, I knew they were there, but just getting around to bringing them down...

This one, my son used as a little boy, he kept toys in and sometimes pretended he was going on a trip

Once he out grew this phase of childhood, I kept his school papers in, and as he got older it was moved to the attic, to make room for other things

I filled it with squash, plastic gourds, pine cone, faux leaves, a little rusty gear, and a thrift store gold frame

Total cost for my little vignette, $0, lucky because that's about what my Fall Decorating budget is!

The suitcase sits on a little folding stool, I got this summer at a yard sale for $1, the Candlesticks I've had forever, although they did come from a yard sale, for $6. The Globe was a earlier thrift store find, for a mere $6. Bargains that last and can be used over and over again, I love it!

This little corner, with it's stone steps is one of my favorite places to play...

Well, I lost my race with time again tonight, my goal of a Fall post a day, is slowly fading, but I'm not giving up on it yet, I'm getting there, an hour late today, but I did it!

Thank you for visiting with me today, hopefully you have been inspired in some small way...

Please leave a comment so I know you were here, they really do make my day!

As always if you like it, PIN IT

God's Blessing to you and your families, have a wonderful day
